So... I felt like I was being punk'd or secretly on ABC's "What Would You Do" and John Quinones was going to pop up out of nowhere...but that wasn't the case.
I went to QuikTrip to get some cash, so I bought a couple of items and wanted to get $20.00 cash back.
(As the cashier was ringing me up, another customer walks in and asked what the maximum limit was for cash back transactions...he said $25.00)
So he gives me my money..and I leave.....and I go to get an edge up....as I pull out the money in my pocket...I see a $20 bill and then a $5?!?!
So...I was like...maybe he gave me an extra $5.00 and rang the transaction for $25.00 cash back? .....then I look on my banking account...and it says it was for $20.00.......
Maybe...I should keep it b/c it's a blessing from God!!
Or...I could just give it to somebody else who needs it more than me....
or...MAYBE....this is just a test?!!?
What do I do?!?!
oh...and the Cashier.....he's my old roommate!! Ironic?!?!
I couldn't keep it......I had to give it back...what if he would've got in trouble..or even terminated?!?! It's ONLY 5 bucks....
So..I go back into QT and wait til he finishes his transaction and pull him to the side .....
Me: "Dude....you gave me an extra $5 dollars on accident..."
Him: "wait...what?"
Me: "yeah man...I think it's b/c of that dude who walked in and asked about $25 bucks..and you mistakenly gave me another $5, I dont want you to get in trouble or anything"
Him: "ohhh...shoot...."
....so the manager sees this conversation and says "everything alright?"
Me: "Yes sir, he accidentally gave me extra money, no biggie.."
Manager: (shocked) ....pauses....."so you came all the way back and returned it?!?! wow!!"
Me: "yes sir, it's no biggie really lol"
Manager: "You're right...just wait a second, i'll be back"
So...he comes back and hands me this Pre-paid GIFT CARD!!!
"This is for you, there needs to be more people like you on this earth"
.....and I'm just speechless.......

I don't know if this was just a mistake....or if God was testing me......but regardless...I had to do what's right. I didn't do it hoping to get anything in return or a key to the city (LOL) but I just didn't want anybody to get in trouble or lose their job over $5.00 .
AND...in return, I was blessed for it!!
GOD IS TOO GOOD!!! anddddd....I didn't get PUNK'D!!!
MORAL: DO what's right! If someone gives you what YOU DIDN'T PAY FOR...give it back!! It's not yours...and God could be testing you! It could be someone else's job on the line if you don't! Amen?!?! Amen!!
